An in-service RCAF Chipmunk circa 1970

This was the latest/last paint scheme before the Chipmunks were finally retired in 1971. Characterized mainly by the Canadian flag rather than the red ensign on the tail and the fluorescent red engine panels and wingtips. The Chipmunk in the National Aviation Museum, which never went into storage, is in the same paint scheme.
